SAFETY STANDARDS POLICY
Introduction
Starra Ventures Inc. is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all users. This policy outlines our standards, procedures, and commitments regarding the prevention and handling of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) content on our platform. We have zero tolerance for any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation and are dedicated to protecting children from harm.
Definitions
Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation refers to any activity that sexually exploits or abuses children under the age of 18. This includes but is not limited to:
● Sexual abuse or assault of a child
● Production, distribution, or possession of child sexual abuse material
● Child grooming (befriending a child online to facilitate sexual contact)
● Sexualization of a minor
● Sextortion (threatening or blackmailing a child using intimate images)
● Trafficking of a child for commercial sexual exploitation
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)Child Sexual Abuse Material refers to any content that depicts sexually explicit activities involving a child, including:
● Visual depictions of sexually explicit conduct involving minors
● Digital, computer-generated, or manipulated images that are indistinguishable from actual minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct
● Any material that promotes, encourages, or provides instructions for engaging in sexual activity with children
Prohibited Content and Behavior
Starra Ventures Inc. strictly prohibits the following:
1. Creation, uploading, or distribution of CSAM: Users are prohibited from creating, uploading, sharing, or distributing any content that constitutes or promotes child sexual abuse or exploitation.
2. Predatory behavior: Any conduct aimed at exploiting or abusing children, including grooming, solicitation, or coercion.
3. Inappropriate interaction with minors: Communication with minors that is sexual in nature or intent.
4. Sexualization of minors: Content that depicts, encourages, or promotes the sexual abuse of children or portrays children in a manner that could result in sexual exploitation.
5. Sextortion: Threatening or blackmailing a child by using real or alleged access to a child's intimate images.
6. Child trafficking: Advertising or solicitation of a child for commercial sexual exploitation.
7. Content that endangers children: Material that promotes, encourages, or provides instructions for engaging in harmful activities involving children.
User Reporting Mechanism
Starra Ventures Inc. provides the following mechanisms for users to report CSAE content or suspicious behavior:
1. In-app reporting: Users can report concerning content directly within the app by using the Report Profile feature e.g., "tapping the three dots in the upper right corner of any user’s profile photo and selecting 'Report Profile.
2. Email reporting: Reports can be submitted via email to safety@starra.co.
3. Web form: Users can submit detailed reports through our web form at https://www.starra.co/contact.
All reports are treated with the utmost seriousness and confidentiality. We encourage users to provide as much detail as possible when submitting reports to facilitate prompt investigation.
CSAM Addressing Procedures
Upon receiving a report or otherwise obtaining knowledge of potential CSAE content, Starra Ventures Inc. will:
1. Immediate review: Promptly review the reported content to determine if it violates this policy.
2. Content removal: Immediately remove any content that is determined to violate this policy.
3. Account suspension: Suspend or terminate the account of any user found to be sharing or promoting CSAE content.
4. Preservation of evidence: Preserve relevant data in accordance with applicable laws to assist law enforcement investigations.
5. Reporting to authorities: Report confirmed instances of CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or relevant regional authority in accordance with applicable laws.
6. Cooperation with law enforcement: Fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in their investigations of CSAE.Compliance with Child Safety Laws

● The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
● The PROTECT Our Children Act
● The Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act (FOSTA)
● The Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act (SESTA)
We regularly review and update our policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with evolving legal requirements and industry best practices.

Prevention Measures
Starra Ventures Inc. implements the following preventive measures to minimize the risk of CSAE on our platform:
1. Content monitoring: We utilize both automated systems and human review to detect and remove prohibited content.
2. User verification: We require users to be above 18 years of age to even signup for the Starra app in the first place. Any user who is under the age of 18 cannot create an account. Further, the entire system’s effectiveness hinges on accurate birth information, so providing false birth information would nullify the use case for joining the platform.
3. Education: We provide resources and information to users about online safety and the importance of reporting suspicious content or behavior.
4. Regular policy reviews: We regularly review and update our policies and procedures to address emerging threats and improve our protective measures.
